The wiki browser is a web application that finds and edits wiki pages. The application fits within a web page and is run as a single-page application.
A wiki page is content specifically designed to be easily authored and combined with other similarly formatted pages to be viewed as a hypertext.

Wiki pages come from many places. Most come one site, the origin, but lots come from some other site, a remote site. Still more just show up from the strangest places.
yellow pages are local. Only you can see these pages. You have to publish these pages in order to make edits public.
blue pages come from a server hosted elsewhere in the Creative Commons. You have to copy these pages before you can edit them.
green pages are system documentation.
A wiki page has a journal that records the history of how the page was made and where it has traveled.
An Action records a human activity that changes or copies a page. Actions are of a small number of types that apply to all pages and their items.
